Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping in advance of the construction of a new arts block and playground at a school. A series of possible prehistoric cropmark sites lay in the surrounding area, and a 19th century brickworks had lain nearby. During the watching brief, no archaeological features were observed, although a scatter of twenty-two prehistoric worked flints was recorded. [AIP] |
