Abstract: |
The trench revealed a deep soil overburden sealing a layer of probable Romano-British demolition/occupation debris with much unabraded pottery. This layer sealed linear archaeological feature cut into the natural chalk, possibly a robbed-out wall trench that was not further excavated. [Au(abr)] |
