Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken ahead of the installation of new bus timing posts located on either side of the road at the two locations, close to the projected alignments of Hadrian's Wall and the Wall Ditch as it appears on the OD landline map. No archaeologically significant layers were observed with the trenches and the test holes did not penetrate beneath modern backfill and soil levels. [Au(adp)] |
