Abstract: |
There was demonstrable evidence that a considerable amount of archaeology survived on both of the development sites and on the Saxon Square area as a whole. This was especially true of the Anglo-Saxon and medieval periods, when, as the name suggests, Saxon Square formed the heart of the Saxon burgh. [Au(abr)] |
