Abstract:
The watching brief was undertaken during the installation of two stretches of drain which were in the eastern section of the site. A substantial masonry wall was present in the easternmost trench while the other trench showed evidence of dumping. All the finds and features were dated to the post-medieval period and it was thought that the wall related to a possible canal or mill. [AIP]
