Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was undertaken to identify the locations of known archaeological monuments and report on new sites within an area outlined for moorland maintenance. The moor contains 13 known sites if cup-and-ring markings, two within the Study Area. Additionally, 11 further sites were identified within the Study Area including a Bronze Age burial site. Indiscriminate quarrying was also recorded on the site. [Au(abr)] |
