Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission for the construction of a resource centre for adults with learning difficulties. Two trenches were opened, both of which revealed masonry foundations along with a possible surface in the southern trench. These structures may be the farm belonging to the medieval moated site of Mockings Manor which occupied a position to the east of the St. Pauls Road site. [Au(adp)] |
