Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation examined two plots of land adjacent to Barn House. Five trenches failed to find evidence for surviving subsurface archaeological features, although a remanant subsoil within one trench revealed quantities of medieval pottery dateable to the 12th/13th centuries. All defined surface earthworks on the site were considered to be of archaeological significance. [Au(adp)] |
