Abstract: |
Five trenches were excavated across the side. An area contaminated by Japanese knotweed was also excavated. The evaluation revealed medieval features cut into the natural brickearth, including a chalk lined well. In the south east corner of the site, post holes, presumably representing medieval structures as well as medieval to possibly Tudor dump layers and occupation deposits were encountered. [Au(abr)] |
