Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in response to a proposed development. The results indicated that archaeological deposits on the site could have been linked to either the gardens of Winlaton House or earlier post-medieval agriculture evidenced on maps studied during the assessment phase. No evidence for metalworking or pre-medieval settlement was observed. Therefore, no further archaeological mitigation was recommended. [Au(adp)] |
