Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment of 23 ha of land was undertaken as the first stage of archaeological investigations in advance of development of the site for housing. Although there were no known archaeological features or finds within the site, the surrounding area had produced evidence of human activity from Palaeolithic times through to the post-medieval period.
