Abstract: |
Five evaluation trenches were mechanically excavated at the site to a cumulative length of 100m in advance of a proposed residential development. A small assemblage of artefacts were recovered from the overburden found overlaying the 'natural' Gault and Folkestone Beds. This consisted of a single struck flint, one small abraded sherd of medieval pottery and post-medieval pot and tile. One shallow undated trench was encountered, excavated and recorded in one of the trenches. [Au(adp)] |
