Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group during groundwork being carried out as part of the development of the former Duchess of Kent Public House, 67 Deverell Street in the London Borough of Southwark. The watching brief revealed that half of the site had already been basemented to the level of natural gravel, whilst the other half consisted of post medieval made ground overlying buried subsoil which in turn overlay natural ground. No archaeological features were recorded on the site. [Au] |
