Abstract: |
Archaeological observations at Gaydon Sewage Works, close to the site of a SAM Romano-British villa site, revealed no evidence for Romano-British activity. Slight undulations in the surface of the geological natural may have represented the remains of medieval ridge and furrow belonging to the open fields of Gaydon which covered the area. A few fragments of medieval pottery were also recovered. [Au] |
