Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of the excavation of the foundation trenches for a public toilet building was undertaken in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission. The observation across the site, which was located in the centre of the medieval town, recorded evidence for outbuildings and cellars of possible 18th century date but not for any earlier period.
