Abstract: |
Archaeological observation and recording was undertaken during groundworks associated with the residential development of the former chapel site. The site had undergone numerous episodes of construction and demolition during the 19th and 20th centuries. It contained a Congregational Chapel and Graveyard from the Victorian period. 19th century graves were extant in the wooded land between the development site and Totteridge Lane. No archaeological features, finds or burials were observed during the watching brief. [Au] |
