Abstract: |
A watching brief of several engineering test pits encountered deposits that proved to be of 19th century or later date. Structural remains, with the exception of the extant riverside walls, were only observed in an exploratory trench in the front garden 0f 15, Morton Parade. These formed the base of a partially demolished chimney stack that served a mill which was demolished for the construction of Morton Parade in the early 20th century. [Au(abr)] |
