Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the groundworks for the construction of a new rectory and garage on the site with associated landscaping. Two pits of medieval date, two undated pits, an undated ditch, an undated gully, residual prehistoric struck flint, medieval pottery, two lumps of mortar and a single small piece of vitreous slag, possibly hearth lining were was uncovered.
