Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. Evidence of revetments had been recorded along the banks of three streams and rivers in the vicinity, one of which crossed the edge of the site. Industrial and water management activity had occurred in the area from the 10th century onwards. During the evaluation, alluvial deposits and modern made ground were encountered. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were observed. [Au(adp)] |
