Abstract: |
Following the removal of topsoil and the excavation of the foundation trenches, a watching brief was undertaken by the Warwickshire Museum at the site of the new tyre centre on the Arden Road Industrial Estate, Alcester. No evidence for any archaeological remains or deposits could be seen. There was a noticeable build-up of modern debris over the subsoil, possibly as a result of a levelling operation during the building of the estate.[AIP]\n\n |
