Abstract: |
Certain areas of the site appeared to have been disturbed in the past, by both landscaping of the garden area and the laying of service pipes. The trenches excavated closer to Lower Way suggested that the ground surface had been made up, largely by demolition rubble. A single struck flint was retrieved from an area of made ground; no other archaeological finds or features were recorded during this investigation. [Au] |
