Abstract: |
The assessment identified that the archaeological potential of the area was very low or at least uncertain as it had undergone little testing. Early cartographic evidence revealed that the land was arable from at least the mid-18th century, lying close to the edge of the common land to the west. The land had not been developed, with Pitfold House being the nearest property. [Au(adp)] |
