Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission for the redevelopment of the site. Two trenches were fully investigated. The natural deposits and any potential archaeological horizons had been truncated by 19th century and modern construction in both trenches. Trench one revealed the foundations of a 19th century wall and later building debris, dumped layers and trench 2 revealed a probable rubble backfilled cellar. [Au] |
