Abstract: |
A second phase of evaluation on land proposed for residential development at Town Wharf was undertaken. The investigations comprised the machining of three trenches down to the top of previously identified peat deposits, with test-pits being hand-excavated into the exposed surface of each trench to identify any significant horizons within the peat and underlying alluvial deposits. Areas of modern disturbance were identified and residual fragments of flint recovered. [AIP] |
