Abstract: |
Although part of the moated area was truncated by a post-medieval farmhouse, a large amount of medieval deposits were encountered. This provided a date for the moat, although a possible phase of settlement activity pre-dating the moat was also noted. Other finds included post-medieval deposits, which were consistent with the farm buildings. [AIP] |
