Abstract: |
The site of the watching brief lay close to an existing Roman villa complex, which was extensively investigated between 1983 and 1996. A Romano-British period metalled surface identified in the previous evaluation of the site was observed and its extent established. A further, previously unidentified and discrete metalled surface was also recorded.[Au] |
