Abstract: |
Much of the Roman settlement had been built over by GlaxoSmithKline, but archaeological remains have been found over a wider area. A medieval settlement was located further to the east, near the parish church of St Mary. The present buildings, located within a Conservation Area, were constructed between 1845 and 1852, and Listed. [Au(adp)] |
