Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an extension and a swimming pool. The site lay within an area with a generally low archaeological potential, but evidence suggested that the development would overlie the line of a former moated site. During the evaluation, modern mae ground was observed, but no archaeological features or artefacts were revealed. It was concluded that the proposed works were unlikely to damage items of archaeological interest, but that a watching brief should nonetheless be undertaken during site clearance. [Au(adp)] |
