Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological recording was undertaken during groundworks for the construction of a tennis court and wildlife pond within the grounds of Bradfield Manor. The existing Bradfield Manor Farm was at least 15th century in origin. Immediately to the north of the manor house an area of earthworks had previously been interpreted as a possible deserted medieval village. Two pieces of wall footing correlating with an existing earthwork were identified during the course of the current programme of recording. [Au(abr)] |
