Abstract: |
The evaluation indicated the probable extent of medieval archaeological remains on the site since the first discovery of remains within a pipe corridor there in 1997. While there was a continuity of occupation from the 13th century to the post-medieval period, the medieval remains were the most substantial, seemingly comprising structures, yards and planned ditched enclosures on the basis of both this evaluation and the previous intervention. A Bronze Age spearhead was also recovered. [Au] |
