Abstract: |
The assessment indicated that whilst the whole area in front of the Laing Art Gallery and Museum was archaeologically sensitive, it was not known at what depth any remains might have lain. It was recommended that a watching brief be carried out during the excavation of foundations and that an area free from services might be examined by archaeological trial trenching. [AIP] |
