Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken following an assessment. A total of thirty-two trenches were opened, but only four were found to contain any archaeological deposits. These were all post-medieval or later in date. It was demonstrated that features visible on aerial photographs of the region were in most cases produced by natural geomorphological or vegetational variations. [Au]
