Abstract: |
Monitoring of building footings in the Northgate Buisness Park on the west side of the Cotton Lane frontage revealed deep deposits representing post-medieval and modern surfaces and a soil layer dating to the medieval period which overlay a very large pit. One sherd of c12th -14th century pottery was recovered from the soil layer overlying the natural. [Au(abr)] |
