Abstract: |
Monitoring was conducted on the topsoil stripping and spoil disposal from the Haverhill bypass. This followed the results of two phases of archaeological evaluation. The presence of an Iron Age settlement was located and the monitoring of the spoil disposal over the site ensured that little damage was done to the Iron Age features. Three other features were found; two undated post holes and a ditch containing Iron Age pottery sherds. [AIP] |
