Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during groundworks for a sewage pipeline. Medieval earthworks were damaged by the groundworks, but the scale of the damage in relation to the surviving extent of the earthworks was insubstantial. Organic deposits were recovered from the vicinity of Sherborne Brook, which may represent the fill of a disused water course. A number of post-medieval features were encountered. [Au] |
