Abstract:
Excavation of two trenches allowed for an embankment associated with the railway to be identified, but revealed little trace of any railway tracks or other structures except for a concrete cable box. A watching brief on the north-east side of the site failed to add any significant information on the railway and showed that a mound was largely composed of modern material. [Au(abr)]
