Abstract: |
The study area lay within the north east corner of insula XIX of the Roman town of Corinium. There was no record of the nature of below-ground deposits within the study area itself. Previous work established the survival of substantial building foundations within the insula fronting on to a Roman street, and possible evidenece of the early Roman viscus. It was concluded that the potential for surviving Roman deposits was high within the study area.[Au(abr)] |
