Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken on the proposed extension to a waste disposal site and the removal of sand, close to a stream and 500m from known Roman or prehistoric cropmarks. No archaeological features were revealed in the trial trench but one rim sherd and one body sherd of post-medieval pottery were recovered from the topsoil. [AIP] |
