Abstract: |
Documentary research and a visual inspection of an area of upland moor as part of the Upland Marches Project identified a number of known sites ranging from Bronze Age barrows to a 19th century golf course. It was suggested that ridging in the area previously interpreted as prehistoric 'cord rig' cultivation remains was probably post-medieval.[AIP] |
