Abstract: |
The evaluation consisting of two trenches on land adjacent to Plank House provided largely negative results. Evidence for archaeological activity was limited to the ditch in Trench 1. Due to the low lying position, poorly drained and heavy clay soils of the site, it appeared the site was unsuitable for early settlement activity.[Au(abr)] |
