Abstract: |
A watching brief (AL42) on the site of nos. 1-5 Bleachfield Street confirmed the northeast - southwest alignment of structures in the area revealed during the 1976-77 'Explosion Site' excavations. Unfortunately, the Roman street thought to run through the area was not detected, though this may well have been destroyed by later activity.[AIP] |
