Abstract: |
The third phase of work at the Glaxo Plant comprised an excavation of six tree pits, prior to the re-landscaping of part of The Buryfields. The excavation, which was in response to the construction of a new access route to the factory, revealed evidence of Roman occupation towards the south of the field. The factory was known to lie above most of the Roman town of Ware. [AIP] |
