Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of one single 'L' shaped 15m long machine excavated trench was undertaken. One feature, a possible Bronze Age pit, was identified. Residual prehistoric flint and post-medieval pottery was also observed in the site spoil heaps. There was no evidence that the identified remains were indicative of a denser pattern of ancient activity in the immediate vicinity. [AIP] |
