Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring ensured that no features of archaeological importance were disturbed during the excavation. None of the trenches were, however, excavated to a depth to penetrate demolition rubble on the site, the absence of observed features did not indicate the lack of archaeological potential at a deeper level. Stratified deposits were recorded in the extreme north of the site, to the rear of Clavering House. [Au(adp)] |
