Abstract: |
The site of Stowfield Road was located in one of the areas of Offa's Dyke, designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument (Tumps Hill, SAM 82). Although the archaeological results were not conclusive, the deposits recorded within the test pits were thought to be part of the backfilled ditch of Offa's Dyke.[Au] |
