Abstract: |
Both quarry sites were evaluated prior to the proposed extensions. At the Perryfield quarry, fragments of worked flint were recovered. Whilst at the Coombefield quarry, investigations located a prehistoric buried soil that yielded Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age pottery, along with a number of worked flint fragments. However, subsequent investigations failed to identify any archaeological features that may have been associated with the flint and pottery.[Au(abr)] |
