Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was carried out and two trenches were excavated. It was concluded that while there was no apparent impediment on cultural heritage grounds to development taking place close to the rear of Prospect House, the well preserved remains of the Military Way found in trench two were of international importance and any further disturbance should be avoided.
