Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken of the proposed development area. No deposits of archaeological significance were recorded within the five trenches excavated adjacent to Front Street. The three trenches in the southern portion of the area displayed general uniformity. The trenches contained a buried soil horizon of possible medieval origin sealed by an extensive layer of black garden soil. [Au(abr)] |
