Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during the stripping of the easement of the water pipeline. The finds provided evidence to support the idea that prehistoric settlement was fairly well spread over the Weald, and that a site may lie nearby. Medieval roofing-tile was recovered, and a previously unknown post-medieval brick-making site was identified. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
