Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment and field evaluation were undertaken in advance of the proposed construction of 13 dwellings with associated access, landscaping and services. The desk-based assessment revealed there to be no known archaeological remains within the site, and demonstrated that little was currently known of the historic development of Farcet. Field evaluation of the site revealed drainage ditches and pits, the majority of recent (probably from the 19th century) date. A single gully was undated. [Au(abr)] |
